ROUND TOP, TEXAS IS THE HOME TO THE FABULOUS "FESTIVAL HALL", a 200 acre campus devoted to the study of classical music. (You know I love my classical music).  The Hall is hidden among pastoral grounds, renovated historic homes, a church, fountains and gardens.  I try and stroll these grounds twice a year when I vend at the Antique Fair in the spring and fall.  I vend in Warrenton, Texas, about 4 miles from Round Top. The grounds are very relaxing and peaceful.  Here are some pictures I took when I was there in the Spring 2015.

JUNK GYPSY PROM IN WARRENTON, TEXAS

This spring, Warrenton/Round Top was fabulous.  My show was a success.  It was nice having my own RV to relax and renew after being "on" 9-7 everyday. I loved seeing all of my show friends and catching up.

I attended the prom with the goal of taking pictures of everyone having fun.  It is all in fun!!!  I do not dress for the prom anymore because I have had my share of fun at that event.  It's really BIG now and has to be attended by security because of that.  Drink of choice is everywhere and there is no limit to where you can walk with your drink.

Check out the pictures.

The guy in the white chaps is over 6'-6" before he put on those heels.  He is a drag queen.  That was a sight to see.  He was fun and had a fun attitude.  Needless to say, he dominated the prom simply because of his height.

BACK TO THE STUDIO

This weekend's Funky Finds Affair was a great success.  I met so many new and interesting people.  I want to give a shout out to Joe and Jessica Dougherty. They are the owners and promoters of this show.  They do a great job of organizing and making sure their vendors can do their best.

There were people interested in attending the Simple Soldering Workshop as well as the Wet Felting Workshop.  If you have attended my workshops before, you know that they include snacks and beverages as well as everything you need to do the workshop.  All workshops are a minimum of 3 hours. I priced them at $45 for a show special.  They are regularly $60.

I'm excited.  Workshops will begin in May.   Invite your friends and make a day of it. Ft. Worth, Texas is a wonderful city to explore.

Email me at mapdeens@sbcglobal.net if you have any questions.  Pam
