Can you spot the Cathouse? No...not the door behind it! It's up on the deck behind the Japanese Maple. For my little jungle cat Lily. |
And here she is! Lily of Grayson Gardens. |

WHEN THE FLOWERS SO BEAUTIFUL
THE FATHER GAVE A NAME,
BACK CAME A LITTLE BLUE-EYED ONE
(ALL TIMIDLY IT CAME);
AND STANDING AT ITS FATHER'S FEET,
AND GAZING IN HIS FACE,
IT SAID, IN LOW AND TREMBLING TONES:
"DEAR GOD, THE NAME THOU GAVEST ME,
ALAS! I HAVE FORGOT."
KINDLY THE FATHER LOOKED HIM DOWN
AND SAID: "FORGET ME NOT" ANON
WHEN the flowers so beautiful

Such a beautiful garden. The garden's daily surprise gifts fuel me! Love the coral honeysuckle....and the pinks (dianthus) are one of my favorites....I have a gray foliage variety with blooms so pink, they look flourescent. I get excited just typing about them! lol. Oh, and I can't forget my favorite flower, my baby with another mother, Lily!! Your blue ribbon posts always steal the show!
oops, I meant trumpet vines.
